ABOUT US

Guides
- Dominique Parisot has been leading cycling and walking tours since 1985 throughout Europe, North and South America. After living in Montreal, Colorado and Seattle, he moved back to France and has settled in Provence since 1998.

A native of Beaune in Burgundy, his knowledge of European culture and history is vast. He has made adventure travel his specialty and his humor and ‘joie de vivre’ are contagious. His personal interests include gardening, art, antiques, architecture, food, wine, biking and walking.

- Jim Sanders began leading cycling tours in 1986 while earning a degree in architecture. After ten years in architecture in Seattle, he migrated to France in 1998 where he and Dominique restored and operated a Bed and Breakfast while continuing to lead tours in Europe and the United States.

A service-oriented individual, he is currently working on finishing a home in Provence. His interests include gardening, art, antiques, architecture, food, wine, biking and running.

- Jean-Charles has been leading tours since 1998. A native of Montpellier, he spent six years in California absorbing American culture before returning to France where he now operates his own silk-screen business in Provence. His interests include biking, walking, swimming, horses, food and wine.

Accomodations
Our accommodations are an integral part of our trips. At the end of the day, you’ll stay in charming hotels, châteaux and inns chosen for their character, comfort, cuisine and location. Cuisine Our philosophy is to offer an authentic experience of each region. You’ll savor the best food and wine of the area from the finest restaurants.

Support Vehicle
The support van acts as our home away from home. You can flag down the van for refreshments and use it to carry your purchases made along the way. Each transfer day your luggage is collected, transported by the van and waiting for you in your room at the next hotel. On walking tours, the van is not able to follow on the path but will meet walkers at designated points along the way.

Fitness Level
Our trips are tours, not races. You’ll want to be fit enough to climb a few hills but there is plenty of time to complete each day’s itinerary at your own pace. Your needs and desires dictate the amount of biking or walking planned for each day.
